Toyota and Lexus Introduce Treehouse for EV Charger Setup

Toyota and Lexus have partnered with Treehouse, a software-driven platform for home charging setups, to ensure a convenient experience for hybrid and electric vehicle owners.

EVgo Inc. has joined forces with Toyota to roll out new fast-charging stations in Baldwin Park and Sacramento, California. This effort is part of Toyota’s “Empact” initiative, which is focused on expanding EV charging access in communities that need it most. Each station includes powerful 350kW chargers and is thoughtfully located near high-traffic areas like grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping centers. These locations are also built to be cost-effective and can serve up to eight vehicles at once.
This summer, Toyota announced its investment in the EV charging network IONNA to help develop a high-powered charging infrastructure for battery electric vehicles across North America. Along with six other automakers, Toyota is supporting IONNA with the goal of enhancing access to charging stations for EV drivers.
