What's New for the 2022 Toyota RAV4?

The RAV4 has some new options including the headlights that have a bold new design. These are on every model besides the very first one. They also added a new color called Cavalry Blue. For some of the trims, you're also going to find some LED foglamps.

2022 RAV4 Trims and Features

The RAV4 LE trim is the entry-level one and it features options like the 17-inch steel wheels, the manual climate control, and the rearview camera to aid you in backing up. It also has LED exterior lights for pars like the taillights and the headlights.

You also get the driver information display which starts at 4.2 inches. There's a tilting steering wheel, a USB port, and basic fabric seating. You also have a 6-speaker audio system with an infotainment screen at 7 inches.

The basic trim also gives you the Safety Sense 2.0 for driver aid systems.

XLE trim is the one at the next level. This one switches to the 17-inch alloy wheels. It has four extra USB ports as well as some extra safety systems like cross-traffic alert in the rear and blind-spot monitoring.

After that, the XLE Premium trim is next. This level adds the power liftgate for raising it easily. The tilt wheel gets a leather wrap as well as some extra controls like voice commands.

With the RAV4 Adventure trim, you get an all-wheel-drive standard. You also get the downhill assist which makes it so that you can maintain a downhill speed of about 3 miles an hour even when being pulled down a hill.
