What's New For the 2021 Toyota Prius?

The Toyota Prius has a list of improvements for 2021, including a newly-available larger touchscreen display on some models. The latest touchscreen display, which is 11.6 inches, is one of the largest in its class. It also sets the Prius apart as one of the most tech-savvy hybrid vehicles. The Toyota Prius continues to put on a strong performance in the safety category this year with more advanced safety aids. You have a new Prius trim to choose from in 2021 as well, which is the 2020 Edition complete with its distinctive appearance. The LE and XLE, offered with electronic all-wheel drive, have slightly different characteristics if you choose the all-wheel drive versions.

Which Features Are Available for 2021?

The 2021 Toyota Prius has a choice of five trim levels. First up is the L Eco. Amazon Alexa, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto are standard on the base level. You get a seven-inch infotainment display screen with this trim, while the top Limited trim has a larger 11.6-inch screen and more app connectivity. All trims seat five, with cloth seats offered at the base level. The LE is the second Prius trim.

This trim gets some more tech and safety features. It also adds a windshield wiper for the back windshield. The XLE is a more luxurious trim with simulated-leather seats, heated seats, and keyless entry. Custom styling is a highlight for the 2020 Edition with 17-inch painted black wheels and black accents on the inside and outside. The Limited gets a high-resolution display screen and a head-up display system in color along with a larger touchscreen. Integrated fog lights are added to the all-wheel drive versions of the LE and XLE.
