2021 Toyota Highlander

What's New For the 2021 Toyota Highlander?

The Toyota Highlander is just as adventurous, performance-oriented, and safe as it was in 2020. There are no significant changes to highlight for 2021, which is just fine for the Highlander, which is already ranked as one of the most popular SUVs in its class. The Toyota Highlander keeps the lineup the same for 2021. Instead of adding new features or packages this year, you can get an entirely new trim level instead, the XSE. Features such as navigation, larger wheels, and a twin-turbo exhaust set the XSE apart from its Highlander siblings and the competition. The Toyota Highlander also comes in a related model that mostly differs in mechanical layout. This model, called the 2021 Toyota Highlander Hybrid, is equally appealing for the same reasons as the Highlander, along with its fuel economy.

2021 Toyota Highlander Is Impressive No Matter Which Trim You Choose

With a new trim in 2021, you now have the option of six trims for the Toyota Highlander in 2021. The Toyota Highlander Hybrid is offered in four trims. Many of the hybrid's trim levels combine the features found across the Highlander lineup. The Highlander Hybrid base trim, called the LE, has components from the first two trims of the Toyota Highlander, which are the L and the LE. The base Highlander and Highlander Hybrid trim have an eight-inch infotainment system. App support and connectivity are accounted for with Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, and Apple CarPlay.

The base trims also have Wi-Fi and five USB ports. The LE trim on the Highlander has LED fog lights and a height-adjustable power liftgate. The XLE on both models has captain's chairs for seven people. It has wireless charging and a tilt/slide moonroof as well. Heated front seats are standard. The XSE has 20-inch alloy wheels, a twin-tip exhaust, and leather-trimmed heated seats. The Limited has leather upholstery, heated and ventilated seats, and an 11-speaker sound system. With the Platinum comes a power panoramic moonroof, a bird's eye camera, and a 12.3-inch display.
