What's New For the 2021 Toyota Camry?

The 2021 Toyota Camry has a new look with some styling refreshments inside and out. It also has a new larger nine-inch touchscreen interface this year, compared to the seven-inch display screen that comes standard on select models and carries over from the year before. The 2021 Camry is equipped with Amazon Alexa this year as well for an even more connected ride. The Camry is offered in six trims in 2021, with more amenities added from the base level to the top.

2021 Camry Is Impressive No Matter Which Trim You Choose

A generous assortment of features are included with the LE, which is the base trim. It starts with 17-inch wheels, while larger 18-inch wheels are included with the top trim. The driver's seat is power-operated, while the second trim and up have a power-adjustable passenger's seat as well. The back row has split-folding seats, and the seats are finished in cloth. The base trim's technology includes Android Auto and Apple CarPlay in addition to Amazon Alexa. Automatic high beams are added to the base trim for safety.

The second trim, which is the SE, has automatic climate control. It also has a leather-encased steering wheel and seats made of simulated leather. The SE Nightshade has a blacked-out exterior. The XLE gets more amenities, including chrome accents on the outside and a larger standard touchscreen display. The XLE includes more safety features and wireless charging. With the XSE, you'll get a sport-tuned suspension. The TRD has larger 19-inch wheels, black exterior trim coloration, and an aerodynamic design.

How Well Does the 2021 Camry Perform?

Two engines are available for the 2021 Camry, with some variation between the trims for power output. The base engine delivers about 200 HP for the first three trims. With the XSE, you'll see a slight boost in power to just over 205 HP. There is also a V6 that produces 301 HP. Both engines are connected to an 8-speed shiftable automatic transmission.
