The 2026 Toyota Tacoma is a solid choice in the class of midsize pickup trucks. The Tacoma is offered with a wide range of customization options across the trim lineup. With the TRD Sport you'll get larger 18-inch wheels, sportier handling, LED bed lighting, and a six-speaker sound system.
The TRD Off-Road trim features standard four-wheel drive, all-terrain tires, Bilstein dampers for more off-road capability, and protective skidplates.
With the Limited comes a sunroof, chrome wheels, power running boards, a power liftgate, trailering safety features, and household-style power outlets.
The TRD Pro has trim-specific wheels, specialized bumpers, 33-inch tires, a performance exhaust system, a trim-specific grille and light bar, and Fox suspension dampers.
Topping the line is the Trailhunter, which has bronze wheels, more underbody protection, rock rials, and a modular bed utility bar.
How Much Horsepower Does the 2026 Tacoma Have?
The base trim has a 2.4L turbo engine that produces 228 horsepower, while the others get a fortified engine that generates 278 horsepower. The TRD Pro and Trailhunter use a hybrid system that generates 326 horsepower.
