Everyone’s favorite Swagger Wagon, the Toyota Sienna, has received various technology and safety upgrades for the 2018 model year. A number of previously available features now come standard across the lineup, giving buyers more bang for their buck.
The 2018 Sienna sports a redesigned front fascia that features a lower grille and a larger fog light compartment. All models now come with side low rockers, which were previously only available on the SE trim. Noise, vibration and harshness have also been improved on SE and Limited models, delivering a better driving experience.
Three new paint options join the color palette: Alumina Jade Metallic, Toasted Walnut Pearl and Parisian Night Pearl.
A new version of Entune Audio finds its way on all models, featuring standard App Suite Connect and navigation. Those who purchase an L, LE, SE or XLE model will receive standard Connected Navigation Scout GPS Link with Moving Maps. LE, SE and XLE grades will also come with Entune Audio Plus in place of the standard system. Equipped with Wi-Fi Connect and Safety Connect, it’s ideal for drivers who want to stay connected while on the go.
Limited models move up to Entune 3.0 Premium JBL Audio. Nine speakers, a 10.1-inch subwoofer, Dynamic Navigation and Destination Assist are offered with this system.
In addition to these technologies, the latest Sienna comes with five USB ports, an available Bird’s Eye View monitor on Limited Premium, a 4.2-inch TFT display and upgraded Rear Seat Entertainment offering streaming capability for Android devices.
Toyota’s advanced safety tech bundle is standard on all trims for 2018. It is equipped with automatic high beams, lane departure alert with steering assist, dynamic radar cruise control, and a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection.
Look out for the 2018 Toyota Sienna to land at Toyota of Dallas later this year.
