Toyota of Dallas was proud to recently team up with Operation Once in a Lifetime in order to help them attempt to set a new world record: the most amount of loose change collected for charity. The money raised during the drive brings Operation Once in a Lifetime closer to nabbing the world record, and will go to supporting both our military and their families.

During our collaboration with Operation Once in a Lifetime, we were able fill up a Toyota Tacoma truck bed with over $7,000 in loose change. With our donation, Operation Once in a Lifetime is one step closer to surpassing the current record of $21,400. The non-profit organization plans to continue collecting loose change until they achieve their ultimate goal: setting a new record.

When asked why they chose to take on this challenge, Operation Once in a Lifetime simply answered, "We really wanted to show people a little really can go a long way… that pennies, dimes, nickels and quarters can change people lives!"

Created to fulfill the dreams of U.S. service members, veterans and their families, Operations Once in a Lifetime has become a widely praised and honored organization. We are proud to support their efforts here at Toyota of Dallas and wish them the best of luck in setting a new loose change record!
