If you’ve been wondering when Toyota might finally debut a new crossover, you’ll be happy to hear that the automaker has just announced that its C-HR concept will get the full market treatment.

The concept car debuted last year at the Paris Motor Show to a roar of enthusiasm from both fans and automotive critics, who loved the car’s sporty exterior, supple interior and fun tech features. The crossover market has exploded over the last few years and Toyota is looking to expand its offerings in the crossover segment. The C-HR is a gorgeously designed vehicle that has been styled to look like a fresh-cut diamond, symbolic of the car’s luxury feel.

Power-wise, the C-HR will most likely get a hybrid powertrain, which will fit nicely with Toyota’s increased concentration on low-emission vehicles. The car should also feature many of the automaker’s most popular interior tech and convenience features, making it a truly welcome addition to the lineup.

We have no definite timeline for when we might see the Toyota C-HR make its way to Toyota of Dallas, but we do know that the automaker is planning to officially debut the new crossover at the 2016 Geneva International Motor Show.

Until then, stay tuned to our blog as we bring you more details on this terrific new crossover model from Toyota!
