New Vehicle Coverage

Every new vehicle that you purchase from Toyota comes with a New Vehicle Limited Warranty. This warranty covers the cost of repairing or replacing components and parts that break or malfunction within 36,000 miles or 36 months, whichever comes first. The New Vehicle Warranty does not cover parts affected by normal everyday wear and tear.

Hybrid Warranty

Toyota also has a warranty designed specifically for its hybrid models. The Hybrid Warranty covers the vehicle's battery and related components such as the battery module. The warranty covers the hybrid battery for ten years or up to 150,000 miles, whichever occurs first.

Rust-Through Coverage

A Rust-Through Warranty provides coverage for to corrosion that perforates the sheet metal. This warranty covers damage from corrosion for up to 60 months regardless of miles driven.

Emissions Coverage

The Emissions Warranty is also included on new Toyota vehicles. This warranty varies based on the car you own and where you live. Specific information about your vehicle's coverage through this warranty can be found in the warranty and maintenance guide.

Powertrain Warranty

Toyota's Powertrain Warranty comes standard with every new car purchase. This warranty covers the engine, transaxle, and transmission as well as seat belts and airbags. It is valid for up to 60 months or 60,000 miles, whichever is first and applies to vehicles with a rear-wheel drive or front-wheel drive system.

Additional Protection

Additional protection plans are also available for GAP and lease coverage. You can also get service contract protection and extended warranties for older vehicles.
