Toyota Vehicle Service Warning Indicators
Below, we list 10 widely used warning indicators. These dashboard lights tell you about mechanical issues within your car. Refer to your Toyota owner's manual to define any lights not listed here.

Airbag Fault
This light lets you know a fault has been discovered in your airbag system. Get this problem repaired immediately. An airbag fault raises your risk in a crash.

Low Fuel Level Warning Light
You might call this your gas light. It lets you know that you need to fill up soon.

Oil Pressure Warning Light
Never run your car on low oil pressure. It will damage your engine. You may correct this problem by checking your oil level and adding oil if needed. If the indicator stays lit once you have sufficient oil, your oil system components need professional service.

Service Vehicle Soon
Your service vehicle soon light lets you know that your car needs service. The reason may be that you've traveled the recommended distance between oil changes and related maintenance. It can also be a relatively minor fault that requires repair. You'll find reasons your model might light this indicator in your owner's manual.

TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System)
This light indicates inadequate tire inflation. Your inflation pressure is critical to your safety, so stop for air. Add air to any tire with pressure below the level listed on your door frame. Service is required if the TPMS light remains illuminated after you continue your trip.

Slip Indicator
This light flashes when your stability control or traction control engages. When these parts are malfunctioning, this light will stay illuminated.

Charging System Warning Light
In many models, you'll see a battery symbol on this light. It monitors your battery's charging circuit for faults. Several potential causes can activate this indicator. Our professional technicians can diagnose and fix those causes.

Brake System
This indicator provides a serious warning. For your safety, do not drive again without repairing your brake system. You may be leaking brake fluid, or another problem may cause you to lose braking power.

Open Door Warning Light
This light gently reminds you of an open door or rear hatch. Firmly secure your doors while checking for obstructions.

Coolant Level Warning
If this light appears, turn off your vehicle. Don't drive again until you repair your coolant system. This light indicates that you have low engine coolant, which could mean your system has a leak. Driving with low coolant will cause extreme engine heat and costly repairs.
