Immediate opening for the full-time position of Automotive Express Maintenance Technician at a large automobile dealer in North Dallas. This is an entry level position with opportunity for advancement in a drug-free workplace that pays hourly plus benefits. Average work week is 40 hours. Schedule is subject to variance as business needs may require. Starting pay is $10 per hour with opportunity for increase based upon peer performance review.

All candidates must be able to work any shift from 7:00AM to 7:00PM Monday through Friday and 7:00AM to 5:00PM on Saturday. Occasional overtime may be required. Also, all candidates must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, have a clean background check and submit to drug screening as a condition of hiring as well as continued employment.

The Express Maintenance Technician is primarily responsible for accurately and efficiently performing quality repair and maintenance work that meets dealership and manufacturer standards. Additionally the technician may write vehicle damage repair estimates, repair broken or worn mechanical and technology components, maintain repair and service records, install equipment, components, and systems, test vehicles both before and after repair. Other duties may be assigned

• Minimum of High School diploma or GED equivalent required
• Technical or trade school training preferred
• Express Maintenance/Quick Lube experience preferred

What you'll do

• Oversee the accounting functions and all daily activity in the accounting office
• Ensure proper controls are maintained at all times
• Manage an office staff up to 6 individuals
• Ensure the accounting records remain current and free of material misstatements
• Maintain the integrity of the accounting records and safeguard all confidential files

• Greet and acknowledge customers on the service drive
• Gather customer information
• Present maintenance menu and request permission to complete any open recalls
• Communicate over the phone, via email or text with customer the estimate of repairs and delivery time
• Confirm transportation needs
• Maintain an at or above national average CSI score and follow up with all guest issues or concerns to insure customer satisfaction
• Perform the 10 step Service Drive Process including the Walk Around
• Follow up with customer within 24 hours of dealership visit
