Autumn at the Arboretum Is a Must-See Event

Autumn at the Aboretum

Named one of “America’s Best Pumpkin Festivals,” Autumn at the Arboretum is an annual event that features some of the most beautiful fall arrangements in all of Dallas. Held from September 23 – November 22 at the Dallas Arboretum, this year’s garden theme is “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz,” which will highlight Dorothy’s adventures in the magical “Land of Oz.”

Over 90,000 pumpkins, squash and gourds help make up Autumn at the Arboretum. These stunning fall vegetables accompany over 4,500 chrysanthemums and 150,000 other blooming plants laid out across the garden. For guests, the journey begins at Pumpkin Village, which features pumpkin houses and special displays that will have you in absolute awe. From there, you’ll travel on a real yellow-brick road, making pit stops at “Auntie Em’s house,” the “Scarecrow’s Garden,” the “Enchanted Forest,” “Munchkinland” and, of course, “Emerald City.”

In addition to these sites, guests will also have the chance to find their way through the popular Haybale Maze or adventure through the Tom Thumb Pumpkin Patch, where they can purchase pumpkins. Special events will also take place on select days during Autumn at the Arboretum, which you can view here.

If you’d like to purchase tickets to Autumn at the Arboretum, you can do so online now. Happy fall!
