If you’re looking to immerse yourself in the beautiful flora and fauna of spring, head down to the John F. Burke Nature Preserve in Farmer's Branch. The city of Farmer’s Branch is just a hop-skip-and-a-jump from Toyota of Dallas and the Burke Nature Preserve features some of the best views of local plants and animals.
The park is protected through an alliance between Farmer’s Branch, the North Texas Tollway Authority and the Valwood Improvement Authority. The preserve is over 104 acres of walking trails, jogging paths, picnic greens and scenic views. Groups are welcome to come take guided tours through the preserve to learn more about the many animals and plant species who call the park home. Groups can also sign up for overnight adventures to experience the wilderness after the sun goes down.
